Chimed In

Shortly after arriving in Kamas, I was invited to participate in a chimes group. I really love it. It is fun to get together and make some beautiful music. This week seems to have been dedicated to all things chime. Sunday we performed for the assisted living home. Yesterday we practiced with the Honors Choir. Tomorrow morning we practice with the Honors Choir again. Tomorrow night we will be performing with the Honors Choir and 2 songs alone. Thursday we will perform for the Community Christmas Program. I don't know what I am going to do next week when I won't have chimes to fill my time.

It feels like everyone needs something this week and I am just chimin' (Seth even wrote a song about Chimin' you should ask him to sing it for you next time you see him.)

That is really cool! I love the bell ringers at Bingham, is it the same? Or more like the ones at Grandma's on Christmas Eve?

More like the bell ringers. When I was invited, I thought it would be more like Grandma's. Our leader just purchased the hand bells, so we are going to be the real deal next time.
