Chimed In

Shortly after arriving in Kamas, I was invited to participate in a chimes group. I really love it. It is fun to get together and make some beautiful music. This week seems to have been dedicated to all things chime. Sunday we performed for the assisted living home. Yesterday we practiced with the Honors Choir. Tomorrow morning we practice with the Honors Choir again. Tomorrow night we will be performing with the Honors Choir and 2 songs alone. Thursday we will perform for the Community Christmas Program. I don't know what I am going to do next week when I won't have chimes to fill my time.

It feels like everyone needs something this week and I am just chimin' (Seth even wrote a song about Chimin' you should ask him to sing it for you next time you see him.)

Young Women's

Sunday I was called to be the Young Women's Secretary. I have mixed feelings about it. I really loved teaching the Sunbeams with Seth. I was out in the hall with one of the kids and this little girl kept popping her head out saying, "You are the best kind of teacher for me!" then she would run back in.

I will miss the kids telling Seth that he doesn't have any hair on his head and Seth acting so surprised, like, "It was there yesterday!" It has been so much fun teaching with Seth. He is such a funny guy - always ready for a good time.

I am sure I am going to love the young ladies in our ward. I am excited to get to know them.
