Worms

It is such a beautiful day today. When I took Mia to school my thermometer said it was 58 degrees. The sun is shining through my front window and making my house so warm that it is hard not to curl up in the sun and take a nap or read a book. I opened the window today. It is such a nice little break before the storms begin tomorrow.

Gordon was outside blowing bubbles and playing in the dirt. I heard him start to cry. I went to check on him and he was at the door crying. I opened the door and I asked him what was wrong. He said, "That worm is trying to eat me!" Poor little guy. He was so scared. I explained to him that worms don't eat people. Once he got it figure out he told me, "Worms don't eat people. That will make them die. They have to eat mud so that they can be big and be Mommy and Daddy worms." He said this about 5 times, I think to reassure himself that he was perfectly safe outside. He did NOT go back outside to play though.
